Hardscape and civil works are the groundwork behind every lasting landscape. Existing hard surfaces and structures had reached the end of their life and needed to be hacked out and reinstated. The challenge was doing it on an occupied site, with other teams and residents nearby, while keeping noise, dust, debris and disruption to a minimum and the area safe throughout.
Our approach to civil and hardscape works in Singapore
Civil works live or die on planning and site discipline. Before any tools came out, we agreed access, working hours and a clear method with the site management. Our crews then worked in full PPE with proper traffic management and coordination with the other contractors on site. The scope covered:
