What to expect
We start by clearing and levelling the area, then improve the soil so roots can take hold. Fresh turf is laid tight, or grass sprigs are planted across the bed, then top-dressed with a sand-and-soil mix, firmed in, fertilised and watered to help it establish. Within a few weeks the new grass knits together into a dense, even lawn — and we can keep it that way with a regular maintenance schedule.
